August 19th
Tuesday

Talk like a Pirate day (Sept. I can’t remember what date)
A few years back we played a huge game of freeze tag, were the program staff ran around with socks filled with flour. This year the campers will be looking for hidden treasures but the pirates (program staff) will be slowing them down by “freezing” them with magical dust. Units will be freed only by…. The good people (not really sure who they will be…mermaids, whales, dolphins, starfish, octopuses , Tinker Bell, lost boys????).
In one treasure capsule (plastic Easter eggs) there will be an ultimate, huge, amazing treasure but I can’t tell you what it is because it is a super secret.

August 20th
Wednesday

THE BIG DANCE…Fairy Tales and Knights (January 12th)
-During lunch or dinner there will be a Dating game involving Prince Charming, Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty….scandalous because Good Old Prince Charming has been simultaneously dating all of them…..for shame.

August 19th
Thursday

Grammy’s Day (Feb. 10th)
- The Talent Show- Kids get fun awards, award speeches, an all round glamorous time

August 20th
Friday

Kids go home – Surprise day (April)

Theme over the two weeks
Each day is a different month because Father Time is upset at his Mother (Mother Time) and has been hang out with mischievous Kleptoweasha. It will be the Campers Duty to figure out WHO Father Time is so we can return to August before camp comes to an end!!! Oooooooooor we will be lost in time forever. Wahaaaaa…….

So that is it. Each Day is a different month so each day we will be also celebrating different observances and recognitions that take place in that month. Counselor Challenges during lunch will also be based around the Day’s month.
